The Surgical Oncology department forms the backbone of solid-tumor treatment. It involves diagnosing solid organ tumors followed by staging workup, treatment protocol decision and also a link for rehabilitative services. Radiation Oncology Department at CBCC Cancer Center-Best Cancer Hospital

Radiation Oncology forms an important part of CBCC Cancer Center. Cancer is a multi specialty ailment and comprehensive facilities are required to cure the disease. Nearly 70-80% of cancer patients require Radiotherapy during the course of treatment at some point of time.
The hospital has Varian Machine which are leaders in the Market and offer 2D, 3D-CRT, IMRT and RapidArc techniques to the patients. Premium package is available to offer patients facilities of pick up and drop as well as preferable time slot for treatment. Beside these facilities our doctors are well trained and have good experience in treating patients successfully.

Brachytherapy
Brachytherapy is a form of radiotherapy where a radiation source is placed inside or next to the area requiring treatment. Brachytherapy is commonly used as an effective treatment for cervical, prostate, breast, and skin cancers, and can also be used to treat tumors in many other body sites.

IMRT (Intensity Modulated Radiotherapy)
IMRT is an advanced type of high-precision radiation that improves the ability to conform the treatment volume to concave tumor shapes.

RapidArc
RapidArc radiotherapy technology is a new approach to image-guided, intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IGRT/IMRT) that delivers precise treatments in shorter times than conventional IMRT. RapidArc delivers a highly precise treatment much faster than other technologies.

Haematology Oncology Department at CBCC Cancer Center-Best Cancer Hospital

Stem Cell/Bone Marrow transplant is a procedure used to treat Blood Cancers and other hematological conditions. In a Stem Cell/Bone Marrow Transplant, the patient’s diseased blood producing (Hematopoietic) Stem Cells are replaced by Fresh Stem Cells either from the patient’s own body (Autologous Transplant) or from a Donor’s Stem Cells (Allogeneic Transplant).

Hematology is the branch of medicine which deals with blood disorders. Stem Cell/Bone Marrow Transplant unit at SRJ-CBCC Cancer Care is the first private sector Stem Cell Transplant Unit of MP to regularly do transplants. First haploidentical BMT of Central India was performed at our center in March 2018.

CBCC Cancer Care, Ujjain organised a cancer awareness and diagnosis camp in association with Maheshwari Mahila Mandal and Maheshwari Samaj Pragati Mandal. Dr Manish Siddha, Dr Ameya Bihani and Dr Satvik Khaddar attended to the candidates and helped them in the screening process.

CBCC India organises such cancer screening camps to help people detect cancer at the early stages so that receive treatment at the earliest.”
